Maybe it's funnier in Japanese, but the jokes just don't land in English. The protagonist just comes across that weird loner kid in class who humps desks for fun. And of course his companions try to undermine him in every way possible.

Only positive is the translation tbh. I just wish NCS picked better projects.

This author is Amazing and this series, all of her series are entrancing and so well written it draws you in. I have marked my calendar for her upcoming books because I can’t say enough how much I truly enjoy her worlds.
