A fight in a cable car!  That is a set up for an exciting fight if I’ve ever seen one.  As for Kakyoin’s imposter, Yellow Temperance, I had assumed they were responsible for this but didn’t know how.  I had speculated they may have body swapped with Kakyoin and tied up the real one in the former body of the stand user or something along those lines.  I thought this, playing with the idea of an imposter who could change his facial structure, but doubted this as well because we saw Hierophant Green.  That said, with complete organic manipulation, I presume he could create a fake Hierophant Green just like that.  In fact, it’s somewhat reminiscent to the ultimate being Cars.  This is another stand which breaks some rules, non stand users can see it, and humans can touch it whereas Jotaro illuminated that normally only stands can hurt other stands.  With a little bit of goo on Jotaro’s finger it is eating him up little by little and it even captured Star Platinum’s arm.



The reveal was certainly good.  Jotaro seeing through the awful acting of Yellow Temperance and socking the imposter in the face without hesitation, splitting the jaw nearly clean off.  And funny enough, this chapter represented to me how much memetic knowledge pervades my understanding of characters.  Going into Stardust Crusaders, I had been told Kakyoin was a weirdo.  I had heard he was into milfs, or specifically that he wanted to bang Jotaro's mom.  And I had seen the infamous cherry gif.  Therefore, I put in my head this idea of a brazenly horny young man, who did weird things such as the cherry moment for the sake of weirdness.  I had assumed he’d be loyal and cool but very strange and comical.  That is not the case at all.  The mom line he gives feels akin to something Speedwagon would say.  An appreciation over the strength Holly showed, compassion and respect.  Then the cherry scene here wasn’t even him!  Further, the weirdo I thought he would be is but the opposite.  He’s an underspoken, cultured, kind and proper boy even if he can put up a fight and show some guts.



Oh also, the girl caught Jotaro!!! She's a real one.. respect to her.

His suspicions about him throughout the day aside, Jotaro drew the line when Kakyoin was suddenly hulking over him and that punch is hard as fck.

thinking he was going to use it.

but I totally forgot that the past Jojos use to run too.

Since the enemy's stand got stuck on his finger after hitting him once, I think Joutarou should've expected the same thing to happen if he attempted to hit the guy with Star Platinum.
