Finally somebody comments about all the noise they are making lol.

I feel bad for the passengers that got their tongue ripped out though.

Jotaro barely stopped Tower of Gray with his teeth and Avdol noted that this thing is known for mass murders and making them look like accidents, supposedly Dio orchestrating such.  The oraoraoraoraora barrage didn’t work and, showing off its evil delight, Tower of Gray tore through 4 tongues at once and somewhat comically wrote massacre in blood.  And just as I was thinking Kakyoin has a darn good poker face, almost always looking the least worried out of everyone, he stood up to fight and took initiative.  Telling Jotaro and Avdol to stand down, he knocked an old man out, he posed like a badass and he fired two Emerald Splashes.  After pretending to miss, all became clear, that those were diversions and he was laying his trap, the long reaching body of Hierophant Green as it did a surprise attack and tore Tower of Gray apart!

Kakyoin was the star.  He used intelligence, his ‘discreet stand’, and also showed some anger, calling the stand and its user repulsive.  It was some cool stuff, a good way to show the strengths and weaknesses of the stands too.  Avdol is near useless in a situation like this, and Jotaro would need to get very creative.  But yeah, Tower of Gray was actually disgusting, got to love the gross out factor.  Even when we leave the realm of literal horror from Phantom Blood, the gross out violence and body horror never leaves.

Running into a bit of trouble already huh?

And 50 days for Egypt. I do wonder how they will kill Dio though even after they find him.

What I got from watching the anime adaptation was that lot of the Stands in Stardust Crusaders had a clear horror movie reference and seeing Tower of Gray bursting through chests with that mouth in its mouth is very much like the Xenomorphs in Alien and that's brutally awesome.

Hierophant Green's Emerald Splash was onee thing but seeing its tentacles spear through and wrap around the beetle's body and crush it with its elderly master following its horrible fate right after. That mass murderer more than deserved it, that's for sure.

Between the gross insect and the tongue removal this chapter was quite graphic.
