Im not finished with this novel yet as its LONG but I needed to write a review.World building: It's our world lol, except early 2010's.Characters: The author does a great job at making the people feel alive (although technically I guess they are). They have different distinct personalities and well you may risk a celebrity you like getting depicted in a bad view (Like Brad Pitt and Angelina) but mostly they're likable.The author also does great with sometimes switching to the POV of fans of Renly so you can truly see how far he's come. This happens fairly often and is a great touch.Renly himself is a gentleman and a GENIUS (as mentioned by literally everyone) haha. Although I wish his previous life impacted him more as I often forget hes a reincarnator.Some cons:The so-called humor that Renly has is... well maybe it's funny in chinese writing but with MTL he's just saying whatever and for some reason people are loosing their balls over it. Not a big deal tho, rather this than everyone finding him to be an unfunny dork.MTL: Well there are 600 chaps on webnovel (450 when I started) but you have to MTL the rest. Luckily it's written in simple chinese. Some novels make zero sense MTL'ed but this one mostly does well. Translating with deepL does it even better but takes a longer time than just translating the page on google.Anyway as a huge showbiz fan who has read many novels this is my absolute favourite. It goes into incredible detail (although too much detail sometimes) on the movies, industry etc.
