11th of May 2022: giving this a 5 star to offset the bad ratings because I'm not sure if it's real ratings from real people who has read and finished this novel or the homophobic bots that always made it their goal to give 1 star rating to all the newly translated danmei update.I'm at chapter 16 atm and will see how this novel ends and give my thoughts later.So far the only thing that has bothered me is MC and his so called bestfriend's relationship.Spoiler
MC went on a tangent about how his bestfriend was a s*ave to the real young master in his last life and ruined MC's racing career and YET. He still treated this bestfriend like a brother despite the fact that he thought about how much he hated this best friend because of the last life.
[collapse]So there are some inconsistency there in the writing but not big enough to warrant a 1 star, at the chapter I'm currently at.First impressions on MC and ML; MC is described as an arrogant young master, hot-blooded, a straight hot blooded young man. Despite the stuff he experienced in his last life, that hasn't changed his temperament. I could see readers not liking him but on the other hand I could sympathize with his feelings.ML is a straight up a**hole. He watched MC getting beaten to the point they ended up in the police station then approached him during his weak state and was so arrogant, I'm not surprised MC rejected him in his last life. I would've spat at his face too.Author did say that they will fall in love later, it's not love at first sight scenario. So it's as*hole x as*hole which will turn into sweet x sweet later, hopefully? We'll see.
