I MTL'd and it was so easy to understand I thought it was translated chapters. It's cute, I also think the MC is cute. He's quite self-conscious but at the same time has self-confidence. He's experienced some hardship but is willing to keep going and change his fate from his previous life. Though basically this novel has turned him into a gary-stu (not surprising since the summary hints it). He gets pampered by everyone and it's not just the ML, even the supposed 'antagonist' fawns over him. He also kept associating with his best friend, who in his previous life, "pushed him into the abyss" so I thought that was a bit random. Like why would you do that MC? Author must be trying to show that MC has it all... including a best friend who may possibly stab him in the back again but is currently trying to monopolise his time with MC (possibly has a crush on him?)..The ML is another thing. I think his character transition was a bit random. The author first tries to make him appear unapproachable, heartless and cold to the MC, but he quite literally becomes a whole different person once he started to interact with him. Sure he has a 'poisonous mouth' but he suddenly became such a softie. He spoils the MC you would've thought they already got an official romantic relationship. He's there to comfort MC when he's sad, cooks him food, supports his career.. list goes on. Though I did enjoy him treating the MC right, but it also felt a bit off when you recall how they met...It was a good read until I felt that I didn't need to continue reading further. There weren't really any grievances that needed to be resolved, and both MC and ML already act like a married couple I don't need to wait for a confession lol.
