At first it was normal because I understood that she had to be cautious. What if the ML just threw her into a pit of zombies when she was unaware?
but the thing was she had no golden fingers. The system was gone and also she wasn’t sure if she’d get any powers. The easiest thing to do was to hug a thigh! But Jesus! She didn’t. I swallowed that one and decided to wait for the next round.
when they decided to get together, they barely spoke! No- I understand why the ML wouldn’t speak but the MC, seriously?
There was this point when the ML went out into the zombie infested campus to look for her and found her criticizing him for his family situation. She didn’t even bother to explain. Clearly he was upset but she didn’t say anything. And I’m like- ???? WHY?
then there was that part when they reunited. Clearly she was looking for him that entire time but when they met, she couldn’t even smile. I endured this on as well.
I feel like the ML really sold himself short! He was worth so much more.
But there was that time when the ML rescued her from the supermarket. Yes, again, she was emotionless. I thought they were waiting to get back to safety for them to have a proper reunion. But- this is what happened. An earth element welder made for them a small mud hut for privacy. Fvc! I didn’t expect any jingjing but at least talk.
clearly the ML was ready to talk but the MC decided to sleep. Okay, you’re tired, sleep and talk about it. Noooooo! No such thing. Even if we are locked up in a stuffy box together, I can never clear out the feelings.
There were so many thing that weren’t cleared out. Which is what made this book so frustrating. It’s even more annoying that she was the one who pursued him in the first place. How did she do it if she couldn’t even talk? They had been in a relationship for 3 years. I understand if you’re scared at first that he may not believe. But feeling don’t just fly away. Old habits die hard. You’ll just naturally find yourself talking with your ex, especially when they seem welcoming. But you’d think they’d just started the relationship or they had been apart for years.
it clearly showed that the ML was in love and in love alone. MC was just letting things happening to her and to the ML without clearing it out.
it got to a point where the ML actually asked her about it but shet! Fvc! She didn’t say anything. I mean I would blame the ML for not trying but he actually did. The s*upid girl didn’t say anything.
ML; I like you.
MC;......
ML; I like you.
MC;....... (just look at him with a calm expression)
ML; you said that you would chase it but you’re not doing anything. MC I really like you (or love)
MC;..... (waits until ML collapses. Then moves on to give the zombies all her attention like they are her dead husbands and she has to show piety by mourning)
I got so frustrated. It got to a point where I couldn’t take it anymore. I think at the end, they resolved it in no words or something and the poor ML was either content with the MC’s next to nothing expressiveness or (more likely) created another excuse for the MC in his head. Sigh! My poor boy.
mark! The ML was featured as the cold, talk and silent type. So if he was more talkative compared to MC, then who pursued who for 6 months before a 3 year relationship.
Even at the end he said “since she came back on her own then I will not let go.”
poor boy didn’t know that it was his friend that forced her back. But even with this small act, he dedicated his entire life and safety to the MC.
[collapse]The author’s writing is good. Even in mtl, it was quite readable and I’m someone that doesn’t read mtl. But I kept up with this book and tried to ignore my displeasure in reading mtl. But I could only read so far, so when I didn’t get what I was looking for, I dropped the book.I think the author will be better off writing books without any romance.the book is good but it disappoints when it doesn’t give what is being asked for. The synopsis is soooo misleading. It gives an expectation for something that doesn’t exist in the book. Which is why most people end up lamenting. If the author had accurately set the blurb, no one would complain.like; MC is transmigrated in a book to play the ML’s white moonlight role and dump him before the apocalypse. There after the ML would throw her in a heard of zombies and be torn apart.after completing the mission, MC decided to head back but is told by the system that her body had been destroyed. MC therefore has to struggle to survive in an apocalyptic world. (this can be added but may be misleading) while fearing the hate of the ML who will become an overlord later.all in all, I wish someone would do an apocalyptic book that depicts villainess FL shamelessly chasing angry, sulking ML.
