I wanted a permission for the translation from the author. Can anyone tell how to contact the author.
I would appreciate your help. Please pm me the method.

Check if the work has a publisher. You need to contact them too. Most times, the publisher decides for the author and the author and publisher has some legal contract on dealing with translators.
