Someone said that it's the same continent and that CoL MC's light magic teacher is that necromancer elux in SYWZ.
I read the first two volumes of CoL and honestly I thought it was pretty good, but I got really tired of the first person diary type of writing. It just seemed strange to me I guess.
But now knowing that it's the same place, I'd really want to know the backstory behind how come humanity is at the brink of extinction and such. How come elux is a necromancer and the in-fighting between the humans which let the demon race get a foothold to begin with (which I'm guessing is a conspiracy from how necromancer elux was talking, especially now that I know he's that good guy Light magic magistrate from CoL which seemed very open-minded and caring)
Then there's also the magic race in CoL, is that the same as demon race in SYWZ? They are both affiliated with darkness and light is their nemesis, but I thought the demonic race escaped from the home planet of the SYWZ MC's lizard "pet".
So please, let me know about all the stuff, and while I don't think so I guess there might also be other novels connected? i.e. Spoiler: minor HJC & DD spoilerthe HJC MC ate that tiger scorpion neidan which came from another dimension which is confirmed to be douluo dalu's.
