i’ve read a couple chapters of this and honestly:
- female lead’s cute and smart, I like her a lot. I just don’t like the fact that she ended up with Yan Jingyang in the end :/
- male lead was a total fucking asshole at the beginning. He was literally gonna bankrupt the tangs because their daughter annoyed him??? The author later tries to make us forget about all of the horrible things he did to the original host by making him a “wife slave” type of male lead.
- i haven’t read the whole novel so i don’t know what Song Xinyan’s ending is but i find her unbearable. She’s constantly on the FL’s ass because she believes “tang su stole something that should’ve belonged to her” even though she herself doesn’t know what that “thing” is.
- people in this novel are kinda brainless too, they all suddenly start treating the female lead a TAD bit better because she’s beautiful and white and blah blah blah
