Silly me forgot to explain mc's father
MC father is actually adopted into the Lei jia. He is a soldier under Old Xiao (Xiao Lingyu's father) and when he underwent some mission (to get the cure for ML's dad irc) he got stranded into MC's mother planet. Cupid comes and MC born.
Then, something happened making LHG's father know this planet existance and its resource, but he can't get into the planet and attacked the outer defense line (the guardian or smthng i forgot). They are human, they're greedy, massacre happened, and org!host witness this massacre (explaing MC 'dream' later and why org!host afraid of lightning). It is implied that MC's dad died of murder as well as MC's mother if im not mistaken
About why Lei jia seems not to put Xiao jia into their eyes other than because Xiao jia power start to decline (bcs they dont hv elemental user in their fams exc ML's dad)... It is because they only need the dad's (ML's) support for the election, by marrying MC, in which they extremely hate, to ML that have a playboy and stinky rep in public eyes they'll secure a 'vote' without having to put their son, Lei Haige, in a political marriage all the while getting rid of the trash MC.
