Ah, if only the manhwa had more chapters. It's a cute, somewhat realistic story, except for the contract marriage - I don't know if that's a real thing in real life and in what degree it happens. It was a cute story, not overly cheesy and unrealistic. And that is being properly portrayed on the manhwa; they are aware of each other, but neither of them suddenly confess being in love, both are strong headed beings, and the affections between them take over slowly. It's gives the realistic feeling of falling in love with each others personality rather than just mostly being stricken by each other looks and possessed by lust and neediness.
I was dubious about the direction the manhwa was going to take regarding their development as a real couple and almost grossed out thinking of Soobin suddenly becoming "aware" of her "love" for him. I've seen that side quite a bit where the FL is almost immediately in love with the ML and its quite eye-rolling and, just plain boring. It lessens my appreciation for the FL. After reading enough mangas, manhwas, I sincerely appreciate a slow burn type of love with more personality, dialogue, than just bland sudden emotions over the top. Both FL and ML. I recommend Like the Wind on a Dry Branch, if anyone's interested - the art is amazing, the story is interesting, and the love gradually increases, very gradually (maybe snail-like pace). You can see the perspective of ML, who is a good Lord, but mostly sees FL as his people and a tool to strengthen his position. And FL sees him as a saviour but does not confuse that with feelings of love. It's interesting to see two people not having that kind of affection for each other slowing learning more about each other, actually talking, evolving, and then insidiously be taken by love. If you like straight up romantic developments, this is not for you.
Thank you for the spoilers!
Edit: Well, I don't mind "Love at First" deals, but they have to be done properly so I can sympathize with the participants (Let's go to Work Tomorrow is an example - the secondary couple. I like how their relationship flows and 2nd FL is not overtaken by his confession of love at first sight, neither the 2nd ML is a pushover)
