[BL] Why are the Protagonist Gong and Shou Fighting Because of Me

This novel is so good. It takes a well used concept of an AO world but weaves a story that's unique (at least in my opinion). I'm still in chapter 68 so I'm not sure about the full detail of the r*pe tag but there are a couple of depictions of r*pe involving side characters.

Basically at the chapter I'm at, our lovely MC is safe.
Spoiler: There are...There are a couple of attempts to harm our MC but all of them were close calls (so far).

Love how the author is skillfully using the parallel universe concept and rare metal to further flesh out the main characters. I'm at a point where the author is giving us a glimpse of the life of the Omega ML in the other time line and how he is connected to that time line's MC and it's a tearjerker.
Ngl, Lots of episodes here made me shed a tear or two but everything else is comedy and fluff. The raws aren't so bad to Google translate. The twists and turns are enough to make the story interesting but not too much to make it dark or hard to follow.

this novel is very VERY interesting, MC is powerful but still not that too heaven-defying OP.

do you know what happened to the former fiance (prospectus)? 

Yeah! I am in full support! I can't with the story. I'm now at chapter 80 and there are times when I just have to pause because of second hand embarrassment. But then I go back to it simply because it's such a joy seeing them somehow make their communication work despite all of the underlying misunderstanding they all have of each other.

I do have a suspicion that our MC is about to discover the truth about ML though because all the lies can work only up to a certain point and our MC is smart and very observant so it makes it that much harder to sustain.

Really, I never thought I would end up loving an Omegaverse story this much. I was just so-so with this genre before but this story currently takes the top spot in this genre for me.

I know I've answered the questions previously and have added a lot more unnecessary spoilers later on but oqkwgfwtwuw I don't know where I can vent my feelings after reading the latest chapter.

Spoiler: only open if you want to read a huge spoiler of fluffI'm in chapter 85 and basically all the vests between ML and MC has fallen off and there was a great reveal. The interaction between them is just sooooo fluffy but also sooooo funny.

In this chapter the ML is going through his susceptible period and pheromones don't lie. So vests fell off and they were both forced to come clean. They've basically connected all the dots and when both reconciled and reaffirmed their feelings, ML took the lead to sweetly kiss MC.

MC basically let ML do whatever he wanted while worrying that they weren't married yet and stuff like that. With his eyes closed he felt the ML taking off his clothes and with his heart beating a mile a minute he could hear the sound of clothes rustling as they rub against each other. But just as he thought they were about to enter a new stage in their relationship everything stopped. He could still hear clothes rubbing together so he opened his eyes to look at ML only to see him piling MC's clothes up to build a small nest for himself. ML complains that there's not enough clothes (to make a nest for himself) and the chapter ends.

ROFL I just can't!!!!!!

Apparently when Alphas are going through their susceptible period they become extra clingy, sensitive and tend to want to act spoiled around their partner. A habit they would have is to create a nest around them made from the clothes of their partner so they can surround themselves with the scent of their loved one.

This just goes to show how good this novel is because it's been a couple of months since I finished the MTL and I can still somehow remember pieces of the story.

I will try to remember the specifics so I can spoil you on them but in all honesty I remember an extra being so heartbreaking.

Basically from what I remember...
Spoiler: There's one about the MC from the parallel universe wherewe get to see things from his side. The Parallel ML died and MC never got married because he was still in love with him. If my memory serves me right, the ex fiance wanted to get back together with MC because of how excellent the MC is despite being an O. The ex-fiance basically makes the truth clear on how the ML and the ex fiance didn't really love each other but that the ML knew he was going to die and because they're both O, the ML thought they didn't have a future together. So, with the heart of wanting the best for MC, he made a deal with the ex-fiance to pretend to be in love and to promise to never let the world know that it was fake.

It was heartbreaking when the MC realised that he wasn't just one sidedly infatuated and how he found out too late. But he read a book that basically told their story but of their pair having a HE (basically the main story line) and he was happy for the story book them.

What I respect though was the MC's internal strength. Basically he reflected on his relationship with ML and surmised that given a chance, he wouldn't exchange his ML with another. Their story, the way it was in the parallel universe on how they're both O and the bittersweet push and pull they had with each other, was their own. Despite the early death of the ML, because of the medicine he drank because he was O, and the relationship he had with the ML and the love he felt was their own. He genuinely loved the ML enough to embrace it all, simply because that was the Story that was real to him, BE and all.

Looking back, for the parallel MC, I don't think he categorizes it as BE. He never got married I think, but just sends out his best wishes to all the parallel MC and ML out there because how precious love is.
Sigh... Honestly my heart still cramps whenever I remember this story. It was soooo good. It was funny, sweet and has enough bitter notes that would add depth to the story. I would definitely read this again but maybe when my heart is fully recovered from the extras.

PS. I have read a lot of novels after this so my memory may be jumbled. Please feel free to correct me if I get any of it wrong ✌️

Yeah! I like how at the beginning, the MC looked to be like a typical sickeningly sweet Omega but later on shows that he's much more than what he seems.

Spoiler: At the part I'm in...At the part I'm in... The former fiance is in deep regret. Basically at this point, all of the MC's cover was blown and after a couple of face slapping scenes he was able to get the respect of most of the people through skills alone.

Now the fiance regrets acting like a jerk to him at the start. He is wallowing in a lot of "if only's" and looks on from afar as love blooms left and right between MC and ML.

But the process is extremely hilarious too. MC and ML has a huge misunderstanding between them because of the parallel world.

The MC thinks the ML is an Omega and has a budding relationship with the former fiance. The ML at this point has communicated secretly with MC under a different account and has unknowingly reaped genuine interest from MC which makes him panic.ML wears a mask as he competed as rat in the underground mecha competition and ends up saving MC from being shot while he was passing by. He ends up introducing himself under a different name. MC develops a crush on him. Later on he connects his mask wearing persona and the fake account together which makes MC fall deeper in love.ML under disguise and MC ends up going on a date and as they deepen their relationship realizes he's effectively making himself wear a green hat.ML first decides to make his fake account (which became his main competitor in love) fade away until he realizes how the MC has made so many admirers. He changes his mind and decides its okay to wear a green hat as long as he's the one that occupies that spot. MC ends up being accepted into the military mecha course and becomes the only Omega in an all A school. To keep up with his persona, ML enrolls and takes up a second degree in commanding because he told the MC that his persona is a student too.MC hilariously thinks that ML's persona is a huge fan of the ML like him. When ML's fake account asks MC why he doesn't see ML as a prospect, MC decides to tell him some truth like how his necklace is made of special metal and how he was able to see the future. He tells ML that he sees future ML and his ex fiance falling deeply in love with each other which if course makes ML crazy because how can two A fall in love and he views ex fiance as a rival in love. MC doesn't tell ML about how he thinks ML is an O in hiding to protect ML. Next day ML encounters a scene MC described he saw happen in the future and ends up being confused wondering if the ex fiance really secretly like him which is Hella funny.There's a part where the ML accidentally activitates the metal and sees a future him speaking to the MC which gives us a hint to his view in the alternate time line. The author later on shows readers the life of the altML and it's really bittersweet. It gives a different depth to the ML and MC. Let me know if you wanna know more or if you would rather read this part in the raws because it is really nice. This portion and the twist made me fall in love with the story.Now I'm at the part where former fiance sees MC giving special treatment to ML (with a mask) and how former fiance has a suspicion that ML with a mask and ML are the same.
