hi there! can someone explain the family charts for me of the ml?
QIN JIAN - fl second child and only daughter to main family
Main family mother and father: dead.
Qin zening: eldest son of main family and technically the head of house though he isn't of age.
Qin zeyu: youngest child and son of main family. cheeky 12 year old .
qin xin: ofl and the pretend second child of the main family. she was actually the main family's ex-servants daughter that was switched out.
she was aware she was not the original daughter . was adopted by second family.
qin zhun : the younger brother of the FL's dad and head of second family
su - wife of qin zhun and a schemer. tried to turn zeyu down the path of being a drunk and gambler and like to place her servants in everyone's courtyard
qin sheng: a daughter of qin zhun. she's called 4th sister
i think there are two sons in this family but haven't heard about them yet
Madam Qin:
the grandma (paternal): not a scheming woman and not really mean. but she has more heart for qin xin than FL
the grandad passed long ago
EMPRESS WEI : (we stan her. she's adorable)
she's the elder sister of the FL's mom and dotes on her nieces and nephew
Gu Ye: is her seven? year old son
Emperor: was a sickly man. dotes on empress wei
Concubine Liu Guifei: favoured by Dowager Empress because she's her niece and her son is favoured to be heir for the throne
Gu Jing: Emperor's and Guifei's son and second prince. He was to marry Qin Xin as second daughter of main family Qin.
Dowager Empress Liu: Mother of the Emperor and a very superstitious and spiritual person
Daoist Yaofuang: a taoist monk who is said to be good in feng shui, reading birthcharts and such. Was bought by Qin Xin (because she has blackmail material that Daoist is just a farce) and spread ugly rumours about FL being bad luck.
Was also prescribing medicine that was slowly killing Emperor but marketed it as an immortal pill.
Was tricked by FL into outsing self as a fake.

After Gu Jing (oriML) disappoints his father for the last time, Qin Xin's sent to King Yu since she's carrying his son's child and the Emperor uses that as propaganda against him. Qin Xin's still delusional enough to think she could marry or become Gu Xi's (King Yu's son) wife/concubine and that she could make a comeback. However, King Yu doesn't lack heirs and has her thrown into prison. After Gu Zezhi & Yu Fuyuan captures Yuzhou, she gets executed with the rest of King Yu's family. At the end, it's implied that Gu Jing isn't actually insane, he's reborn because he calls Gu Zezhi the regent which was his role as the villain in their last life.
Original Timeline: QX was discovered by Qin grandfather to be a fake, her parents and her were exiled and QJ recovered. QJ went on to marry GJ and become the Empress after he ascended to the throne. Sixth Prince died at 6 yo, Empress followed in the Spring season because of asthma and grief, the Emperor died shortly from poisoning by immortality pills. GZ became regent and GJ was only a monarch in name. King Yu rebelled and killed GZ.
Second Timeline: QX was reborn and murdered Qin grandfather when she was 5yo so she wouldn't get discovered. QJ came back at 14 instead of 8 years old.
