So I read up to chapter 240 ish and then dropped it. I skim read to the end so have a good of idea of what happens. Wish there were spoilers so could have dropped it much earlier - the chapters are long so the 330 ish chapters are more like 1200+ standard xuanhuan chapters.

Who is the MC?
SpoilerGod, as in the Abrahamic religion God. Amon might be a play on the words Amen as oppose to the Egyptian god Amun. You'll soon notice all the biblical characters from Moses to [Angel] Gabriel etc. The whole story is a reimagination of the bible. It's not a xuanhuan at all. Also if you know the famous bible stories you can guess what will happen e.g. Moses escaping Egypt with slaves and parting the sea with his staff.
Romance
SpoilerIf you've read the Pursuit of Truth, it's a similar kind of ending.
No wives/ girl friends by the end. Some myths mention MC and Mourrin together because of the statue which had MC holding Mourrin.
MC only loves Maria.
Maria dies when the Egyptian god Seth tries to force her to become a god under him (before he wanted her to marry the pharaoh). She refuses and uses Tiamat's scroll to injure him and kill herself.
Maria will eventually reincarnate as "Mary" (will awaken her memories too thanks top MC) near the end of the novel, be married to Joseph and have MC's child called Jesus.
Mary will eventually go to heaven where she'll meet the MC and they can be together - this happens right at end of the story, honestly, if you know this story is based on the bible you can guess there would be no "wife" because God had no wife in the Bible and hence I got suspicious about death flags for Maria. There's a part where Maria writes a "will" of sorts which is when I got really concerned and wish there was spoilers hence I wrote this.
Honestly there isn't much romance in this novel other than flirting. I removed the early romance tag because they never get together until the end.
Ending
SpoilerMC becomes God (the one which Abrahamic religions worship), merges his realm to create paradise, Mary will eventually meet MC again in heaven.
The story isn't bad but it's not a xuanhuan and there is no/ little romance that I feel I got click baited. What's worse is, even if the story was my genre, it is in no way a 4.2 novel. It should be around 3.5 in terms of rating.
