Yes! He's the old typical shoujo manga ML that has become rare nowadays. I like his character from beginning to ending, sunny pure and kind.

The killer is Kinoa, the cousin/childhood friend of MC's fiance (Kuze). There are several people who remembered their past lives, MC, Amamamiya, Kinoa, and MC's lil bro (but he only dreamed it, unsure why he kept dreaming the same thing).

There are several misleading characters who turned out to be people that Kinoa instigated/used. MC realized that the intended target for bullying incidents was always her instead of the ogMC, so MC and ML investigated a lot of things about the incidents that always put MC as a bully even though she's become a good friend with ogMC, until they reached a clue that the president of literature club that was never known or seen was very suspicious and trying really hard to make sure MC cannot read a popular short story that was published in school journal written by the president. MC ML got their hand on the story, and MC knew who the author/culprit.

The story was about a girl who fell in love with her childhood friend who ended up forced to get engaged with a vicious fiancee. She saw how her crush hated the fiancee but unable to do anything about the engagement, and the girl blinded by jealousy and desire to free her man/no-one-can-have-him-if-I-can't thoughts, pushed the evil fiancee to her death. But then, the ogMC and ogML found out she was the killer and so she killed herself.

That was what happened in the ogManga that MC didn't finished and clearly, the writer also remembered her past life. MC asked culprit why she followed the manga's plot if she knew she was going to be a killer, the culprit answered that despite trying to stay away, she still ended up falling in love with Kuze (fiance) and then she realized that MC was changing--and Kuze started to have a better opinion about MC (kinda hinted that he likes MC but he rarely appeared and MC just mentioned that they have better relationship than before but not exactly friend nor do they want to stay engaged). The culprit was scared that they will get together, so jealous and paranoid, she decided to follow the plot and made sure that MC has the worst reputation and just to rid any good feelings Kuze might have for MC. She wasn't going to resort to killing her, just to scare her and bla bla bla, but judging from her actions, she most likely would kill MC if push comes to shove.

At the end, MC didn't report the culprit but used her crime to pressure fiance to initiate the breaking of the engagement. Both of them in tight spot, but Kuze has better chance persuading his parents to drop the engagement than MC persuading her aunt. The fiance, still cared about his childhood friend and also wanted to honor MC's wishes, managed to break their engagement. No other mention about the culprit and the fiance then. Not sure if I misread it or remembering wrong, but I think the culprit moved away.

Well, that was a long answer haha

ML is Yuzuru Amamiya, the second ML in OGStory. He also remembered his past life, but doesn't really follow the manga about their world so he didn't know much. He decided to help MC since he knew that there's someone aiming for her life. Typical secret-comrade developed between the two and that's how MC came to like him, I think.
