I don't know whether it was already mentioned in the current translated chapter or not (I'm currently stacking the chapter before reading it so I'm not up to date to the translation), but
Spoiler: the Yuwen coupleIirc, the real 7th cousin was the biological half-brother of YWR. The husband was in love with another woman (not really divulged further) and the wife then in turn cheated on him, and pregnant with Yuwen Rui. The wife felt guilty about it so she had been wanting to get rid of YWR.
So, I guess they were too preoccupied with their own problem. 

Yes, he is already in love but he doesn't appear in the early chapters. Moreover their interactions are enough suble so you don't get to see much love in the beginning 

So.. Will bai qiang die then?  Cause it seem Yuwen rui will not have sex with her but then would she die? 

Drama  (RIP me) ....when do the leads get married? (does it happen at the start middle or end?) 

I swear to god im im in this thread because i was so stressed out in whats happening with the MC.

I started to read this story for some fun and maybe some cute interactions with other male leads. Especially since i was specifically looking for a tag where 'male lead fell in love first' and some good BG novels.

I HAVE TO ADMIT THIS NOVEL IS GOOD BUT MY GOD THE DRAMA!!

Im so stressed for the MC dear ML (YWR) please save her. Im worried for them cus these two people are in one mess after another.

Of all the male leads only YWR was the best one for me, he wad the one that really helped the MC and i hope to read their HE soon. (But for now im still far from that and i must suffer uggh )
