SpoilerI just finished reading ch 1 & 2 and there seems to be a misunderstanding between the ML and FL(?) They knew each other when they were kids. FL loves ML but FL thought he followed a noble lady to a monastery and that he left her too bc she had no power. But then later, the ML says he was sent to the monastery by the Duke his father. He remembers FL and wants to find her and wonders where she is. Upon going to meet the emperor to receive his title of Duke, he realizes it’s her.

ML is wearing a ring on his left hand. I’m wondering if FL gave that to him or was it that supposed noble lady he followed?

The story is interesting so far and I’m loving that the roles are reversed lol. FL is such a tyrant 

Spoiler: calli and ez first meetingBased on their past, calli wants to pray to god for her sick mother but she lost so she met ez in a peaceful place and asking for a guide. but that time ez cannot speak because it's a time that you can't talk so he guides her without talking and using some sign like nodding smthing like that. when calli praying and curse the government she cries and ez gives his handkerchief and suddenly confide to ez because she thinks that ez cannot speak.
as soon as time pass by, they went to a room because calli is hungry and ez gives him a bread without a taste in it. And ez finally speak to calli and calli was shocked she thinks that ez cannot speak and run from embarassment LOL.
Spoiler: safehouseI see they already love each other however, because ez thinks he doesn't deserve it so they still can't be together. But Calli often tells him that she wants to marry someone like Ez and ez immediately blushed omgomg so I think the safehouse was made for both of them

Spoiler: Fl's behaviourWell, not to say it is rare to see an FL be so violent in her revenge. It is really an eye for an eye kind of revenge.
Most of the FL revenge stories that we can read in manwhas are usually more plotting ans scheming, whether this FL acts: "like a man" in this regard. As in the violence she displays is very physical when mostly women use psychological violence. This is just a general consensus by the way, it is how society portrays men and women. That is why, for example, a woman killer is considered worse than an man killer because a woman is supposed to be nurturing and protective. Gender roles even exist in how crime is viewed.....
But I digress.
It is "refreshing" to see an FL that doesn't pull punches on that topic and is as cruel to her abusers as they were to her and the ML.  
I don't condone her attitude and behaviour with the ML, but I understand where it comes from.
When hatred consumes somebody, that person gets tunnel vision and narrow thinking pattens. They are incapable of assessing a situation or a person correctly, since the whole focus is on revenge and the various chemicals released by the brain under anger/rage really don't help. They also "need" the release that the vengeance will procure. Because it is the only outlet to the pent up rage and feelings that they have harbored for years sometimes.
The downside to this is that the patterns have been there for so long that they can't get out of it, so the next slight (real or imaginary) will re-add fuel to the fire. Which is what you see here with the FL, each time she discovers something about the ML, the ring, the house, etc... She is too caught in her revenge ways to think clearly as ask the simple questions that need to be asked. She only trusts herself anyway. So having a conversation with the ML is not even on her agenda at this point. 

I feel like authors have got addicted to making the mc's of stories victims of rape be it male or female

thank you for your spoilers! I read this manga in the official Chinese app. It is a great shame that I have to wait for another month to see the whole series. Their childhood experience is so touching. I am not sure it is the same artist.  It reminds me of another manga about the duke and an illegal princess. 

Bruh,  i should've know by the title but still went out of my way to mtl till chapter 3. This is trash. I wish i had seen the spoilers before actually reading it. Commenting this here because i feel like ranting. It doesn't matter to me the circumstances, rape shouldn't be a tool of revenge or a freaking tool for a fiction writer to romanticize.  Just reverse the gender of the characters and i doubt the people in the comment section would feel comfortable reading it, sicko author and her fans should get  therapy 

I hope this is tragedy
