Oh fabulous, ex-husband (who's identity has still not been exposed) now staying over with the family he left, what could possibly go wrong? I'll tell you, NOTHING! Okay, so I actually am getting some weird vibe that they will end up together again. Although here is what I don't get, Asuka's mom is not feminine at all, so why the hell does she expect men to be manly and girls to be girly? That is so hypocritical of someone who runs a large corporation (i.e. the bread winner, stereo-typically a man's role) and can't really do domestic tasks that well. It seems her beef is purely with girly guys, too one-sided in my opinion.
