Otomen Chapter 44 Discussion

I think Asuka met every word he's said there. I find it to be somewhat over exaggerated though.

I found volume 12 scans. Now to translate it on my own. ;u;



Oh, and yeah, that was a total cliffhanger that Yoshino-san, the baker, is most likely to be Asuka's father.



Now, i'm going to try to update these character pages since otomen has alot more than what MAL tells me. c:

Yoshino Hiromi is INDEED Asuka's dad, according to volume 12. OMG. I WAS FANGIRL TOO MUCH.

I do wonder though if that really is his dad or not.  I seem to recall his aunt had said that everyone lost contact with him, and although he does seem otomen-ish, it isn't exactly "I've always wanted to be a woman".



Good volume overall though (nice moment between Ryo and Asuka with the chocolates), I just wish the whole business with the school would wrap up.  Though it doesn't look like it's going away, with Asuka's mom here.



I wonder when we'll see a date for vol 12, with everything almost being caught up (or at least some scans? gah).

Okay so now I am ever more sure that that baker is his dad. I mean his aunt just said "of course I know the place, my brother runs it" . . . I mean there are no other employees at the shop, and he is the owner of the place, I don't think they can pull out some other random dude from the background that is actually his dad. Also the whole bit about him being shy/overly concerned around Asuka also would lead one to think that is his dad.

First of all: I just died with the 1-UP mushroom in the beginning.

About the Edo Era Village chapter, in one moment I tought that Tounomine started to like Ryo a little, but I think is just my cliché-shoujo radar.



Valentine's Day chapter was cute too! I totally knew that Ryo was doing a (terrible) chocolate for Asuka, but it was really cute that he returned every chocolate even when Ryo didn't get mad. （＾∀＾）ノ



For the bakery owner, my first impression is that he was Asuka's dad, with all the mystery and stuff, but I don't know, Otomen always trick us with this father's story, maybe it is really his uncle...



The school thing about the rules is so boring, I mean, enough already. Please, do a wonderful chapter about Asuka using his power one more time to cure the heart of his mother and stuff, oh my. （￣へ￣）



I liked this volume too, maybe some good revelations are coming in the next one. It's not a extraordinary manga, but Otomen still really cute and the characters are lovely, so I won't dropped it, because it's my cute warm-hearted manga. ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ
