The whole fight between dog guts and the blurry demons was beyond stupid. There, said it. Tail sword, really? Attacking by doing backflips? What happened to the good, dynamic fight scenes in this manga?
It'll be easier to take it as in idea. Miura has really been creative with the way he's presenting the dream , from dog guts ( which sounds silly but actually worked ) to the d monsters that represent the rape scenes, I can't think of him handling it in a better way . Since the fights started in the dream we knew it'll lead to a fight between guts and the last fragment protector faggith , the problem wasnt in the backflips by the dog which is the only way he can create enough momentum to do dmg with DS but with the fight itself . I think Miura knew this and tried to give us the best of what the situation can offer and for me i can easly overlook the "silliness" of this fight , taking it as s sacrifice for whatever Miura is planning for the end of this dream which looks promising . Anyway don't worry the good ol dynamic fights are coming back but we'll have to wait a bit longer ;) we're used to that by now :'(
