I never thought that I would be so excited to see Zodd again after he became a pawn of Griffith's but Guts clinging onto his shoulder by chance gave way for one of the most awesome team-ups I've ever seen in the manga. If it weren't for Sonia's prophecy, he wouldn't have accepted that quickly and they'd both get roasted.



How Zodd and Gutts interacted with each other by exchanging sarcastic remarks reminds me of how good rivals would playfully argue with each other and that made me smile. With the ethereal power of the Dragonslayer and Zodd's power of flight, they managed to defeat the Thunder Emperor and give the guy a massive headache.

I guess Farny is back^^
