Berserk Chapter 27 Discussion

That situation is foreshadowing a lot when it comes to the relationship between guts and griffith. Guts has to do the dirty work while griffith is amusing himself with the princess. I didn't get it exactly but wasn't guts hit by the same poisoned arrow in this chapter ? - Well let's see how far this goes.

if only griffith kept his mouth shut. so if he doesn't see his "valuable comrades" as friends, what does he see them as? subordinates? that's just sad, especially with everyone risking their lives for him. especially guts, who is devoting himself to griffith and his ambitions. griffith's ideology of what a true friend is is quite interesting, though i can't really agree with it. shouldn't a true friend support your dreams and help you attain it? it seems like guts has always thought of him as an equal, a friend. but that was only just a one-sided feeling. poor guts.

I'm really sad about Guts, when Griffith said that they aren't friends, this just broke my hearth, the expression in his face...He's looking from so far and feeling inferior...Bro...

Guts imagining himself as the demon. That's some great foreshadowing.

To this day, he still gets Gambino flashbacks. Adonis died too soon too.

The fountain scene has arrived. That's the point where his dream will be run over by the wheels of causality.
