Berserk Chapter 106 Discussion

did you all skip a chapter or something



It's a bit anti-climatic that this volume ends right in the middle of an important scene, but oh well. Guts' fortitude is amazing. Still, in the back of my head I can't help but think, "None of this would have happened had you not left Griffith."

Good chapter, Griffith talking to ''God'' was very interesting.

MAL should really state the name of the chapter along with the number because half of the people don't know what chapter they should be talking about on this page!!

I feel really bad for her. I hope her and Guts can work through this.

Guts now has to deal with two bounties from the after-life. The one on him and the one on casca!

The cover of this volume is awesome. Looks like we might be getting back to early Guts soon.



The chapter itself was fucked up. I guess I can say that about most Berserk chapters, though. As others have said, Guts has incredible mental fortitude.



I actually laughed when Guts asked to borrow the Skeletons horse last chapter. Was pretty unexpected. Them hauling ass through the forest was sweet though.



The scene with Casca standing serenely with spirits circling was astounding. It looks even better with the imagined animation and music in my head. Simply astounding.

Aaaand yes, even if Guts can defend himself against spirits, what could Casca do in that state? How will she live from here on, constantly endangered?

Guts never stopped, and thid forest battle between bugs is near to ends!!!

Holding a rose sword that comes with the thorns is pretty counterproductive but I guess it helps with the adrenaline rush~
