Berserk Chapter 97 Discussion

Man for the first time reading this manga I'm tearing up a bit after this. Judeau was so damn cool and he went out like a true warrior. Even though I knew it'd happen, it still hurts to see. He was my favorite side character, definitely... can't believe he was in love with her and didn't even get to tell her...



Somehow I truly comprehend now why Guts has such deep-seated hatred of Griffith. Normally when a character is motivated by revenge or hatred, I don't truly grasp the character's emotions; it's something beyond me. But after seeing this horror, I understand with Guts.

Judeau is dead, but he went out with a fight. It seems he was in love with Casca, which explains some of his actions regarding her throughout. And, I guess one of the more....uncomfortable scenes in Berserk is coming.

All this character development, emotions and interactions, just for them to die one by one so easily? Depressing. not to mention, Judeau was such a cool side character but alas! his feeling for casca died with him.

R.I.P. Judeau. He was my favorite member of the Hawks and I'm sad he never got to tell Casca he loved her.

seeing judeau die like that was sad and then seeing casca,  it was too much

Till this ch i was able to understand griffith dream, but tis is going too far, how can he do tis for jst his dreams. Now i totally understand the hatred of the black swordsan

I'm rereading Berserk over for the 4th time.



Judeau's death really hurt, he truly was an amazing character. He loved Casca so much, all he wanted was for her to be happy.



AHHH why must you hurt me so Miura?!
