What if Hanzo was with the hermit? That would make me so unbelievably happy to find out he is still alive. On a side note, although I was pretty sure last chapter, that dude that is traveling with them is clearly the leader of the Fuma ninja or w/e. Saying he is looking for a woman and paying special attention to when Mamezou mentions something about them.
