So it was Wally after all, I kinda forgot that many factors go into deciding the next opponent other than what the boxer wants, I kinda feel the same way as Sendo because we don't need this to drag on any longer, but I'm also interested to see if Wally's gonna be a match or is gonna get destroyed by Ricardo (hopefully Morikawa doesn't go crazy and let Wally win).

Also, whatever happened to Mashiba's fight?

                        ----------------------------------------

We find out that the Wild-Child Wally that Ippo once faced, apparently racked up multiple fights around the world, and will be the one Ricardo fights. Sendo does not take this well, and almost busts his hand again out of angry, but thankfully Ippo is there to block the punch instead, telling Sendo to calm down or he'll break his hand again.

The final page mention's Hoshi. I'm guessing he's finally woken up.

Damn.. the last time we saw Wally was when he fought Ippo and now has an insane track record and is about to fight Ricardo? damn :O

Interesting match-up.

Wally is probably the character that I do not like the most in this story.

I hope Ricardo gets the job done as he always does against his challengers.

I would've really preferred for Wally to fight is Miyata though, and not Ricardo.

Haven't seen Miyata fight for a long while now.

Ok, this one was so obvious. It had to be Woli. There was so much foreshadowing after his fight against Ippo. Remember what Kamogawa said " there's no way the kid would ever be able to beat him again"

Miguel said he would make it to the world stage

and his son reaffirmed it.

He had to return to the story sooner or later. Finally the moment we have been waiting for many, many years. Fucking hyped for this. Can't wait see how Woli evolved. Is he still the unorthodox fighter from before or did he start using more text book techniques. During the match and after his loss he showed greater interest in boxing as a sport, so the latter wouldn't surprise me. He still gotta rely on his wild nature because in terms of technique there's no one as refined as Ricardo. Will be interesting to see how he's gonna deal with him. This should become Ricardo's toughtest match. If Woli ends up getting destroyed like a pathetic jobber it would be fucking brutal, lmao.

F for Sendo btw. Sucks to be him, but he's pretty lucky tbh. I mean Ricardo surely would've kicked his ass.

Awesome! I told my best friend that I wanted either Wally or Randy Boy Jr as Ricardo's next opponent and not just another anonymous bum that he'll knock out in the first round. Can't wait for the match-up. It's gonna be fireworks. Definitely the best opponent Ricardo has had. Let's see how much he's improved. I want to see Volg fight again soon though. We haven't seen him in a while. Maybe Randy Boy Jr goes to his weight class and they fight. That would be dope. Volg should beat him though.

It doesn’t matter to me whoever Ricardo’s opponent is, I’ll root for him. The only one I’d be ok for him to lose against is Ippo.
