So Ricardo's next challenger isn't Sendo, huh.

Well, he did watch Sendo's fight with Gonzales and even knew that Sendo broke his right fist.

He probably wanted him to rest more so he can fight him at 100%.

I forgot that he injured his fist during the Gonzales match. Guess that's the reason then. It's almost always the most unspectacular resolution after a cliffhanger, lol.

I’m curious now, I hope Ricardo’s not going to lose until… You know.

Got baited so hard.. a Ricardo vs Sendo would be amazing, although I dont see Sendo managing much against Ric

                        ----------------------------------------

Hoshi ends up going down after losing his mouth guard and getting pummeled with a barrage.

Imai tells Sendo he wants to fight, but Sendo says he's too busy and then points to Ippo, telling Imai to go talk to him.

When Ippo and Sendo meet up, Sendo is informed that Ricardo is not fighting Sendo. What?!

Imagine Martinez vs Miyata 🔥 Ok, serioulsy, I can't think of anyone. Gonzales wouldn't make sense. There's only one, Woli. It's been a while since we've seen him and it would make for a spectacular comeback. Of course it could also be an unknown character. I'm looking forward to see the reason for not fighting Sendo in any case.

As for Imai. Figured that he's still not satisfied. I guess it's time for Itagaki to show him that there are still people in their generation that should prove to be a challenge.

I don't know who Ricardo's challenger is, at first I thought it might be Miyata, Wali, or Vorg trying to conquer another weight class, but the fact he delayed Sendo's fight for this must mean it's someone much more important than that, I doubt it'd be Gonzales though.

It's nice to see other boxers still miss Ippo in the ring, Imai is still upset about it, he doesn't seem to consider Itagaki his rival anymore btw, he's on a completely other level. It's sad that Itagaki got sidelined so hard he doesn't look half as strong as he was built up to be.
