Hajime no Ippo Chapter 1353 Discussion

                        That was a little confusing as every place had the chapter with the pages out of order. Hopefully that gets fixed so I can read it again and everything read more coherently.



We see more about Mashiba and his overprotective tendencies towards his sister, and learn that he used to ambush boys at night because only the strong could protect his sister.



And now, we're at a title match. It's going to be an interesting fight.

Mashiba might NOT admit it but he must be somehow trusting Ippo at this point :p. Imai vs Hoshi? wooh!

Mashiba is so tsun haha. Tanaka won't have it easy, but her being mature certainly helps. It's still pretty obvious that he acknowledges Ippo. From earlier chapters we knew that Mashiba scared all the boys (Ippo experienced it firsthand xD), him ambushing  them is knew, tho.



Imai vs Hoshi literally came outta nowhere, even tho it makes sense that the West Japan Rookie King Tournament Winner would make it to the Champ. I'll gladly take this match between two power types who finish their fights quickly.
