Hajime no Ippo Chapter 1 Discussion

Finally decided to give this a shot before my sports binge ended felt I had to. It is a rather interesting start, I didn't expect it to start up like this, but glad to see that he has some potential.

Wow, there were a lot of extra panels that I didn't know of that didn't show in the anime. Seems like I had been missing out.

I have watched the anime of Hajime no Ippo and I loved it so much I decided to start the manga. In the anime they did not mention Mike Tyson and his story at all. Anyway I loved it and I am going to carry on reading this!

Great first chapter It was nice seeing ippo being saved by takamaru and Learning about Tyson and his pigeons, to bad for them being killed but cool about becoming a champion at boxing. I liked Ippo's will to try out boxing, he did great catching those leaves..

                        So this is the legendary Hajime no Ippo?  Well I have to say I'm enjoying the start of it so far.  Ippo seems like the perfect template for a good protagonist in this kind of story.
