Still gratz to Alf for the amazing display...



Now anticipating the next title match against Ricardo, hopefully Sendo's hand is still recoverable.

Was to be expected that Gonzales would retire after his next loss. The twist for him, he probably thought it would be against Ricardo. Despite the outcome, it was nice to see him satisfied with his last match (and that Sendo could give him what he wanted/needed), quite the contrast to Ippo.



Team Alf isn't dead yet, however.



And man, I want to see Ippo's reaction now.

This fight doesn't make sense at all,

What a way to murder a great character like Alfredo,

I was seriously rooting for him, clearly Sendo had no chance of victory here.

This is seriously one of the dumbest arcs I have ever read -_-

I hope his right fist would be able to recover before the promised fight with Ricardo.

Sendo is a beast. He now has a match with the man, the myth, the legend Ricardo himself.

A short but good chapter to close off a really good match. Congrats to Sendo and I'm also proud of Alf for that display. Intrigued to see what's next for Sendo and more importantly, Ippo too after that win.

I really like Alf and this was a good way to end his career. I’m a bit sad he lost but I like Sendo too, so it’s fine. Sadly Ippo can’t fight him anymore.

Congrats Ippo youbdid it.

wow beating someone so good that he retires from boxing a la brian hawk, still not sure if I like another name to the list of fighters that beated ippo but he won't be able to have a rematch because reasons, thus not surpassing himself and his failures

I'm really glad Sendo won this fight, it's the best fight we had since Vorg's world title match in my opinion.

With this pacing it's probably gonna take another 50 chapters for Sendo to fight Ricardo (and I don't see Ippo returning before that), but hopefully things will get a bit faster now.
