Yeah but the name is habile no ippo it was cleared sendo was gonna win since it’s the only logical thing to happen and it’s obvious is gonna lose to Riccardo unless the autho want sendo vs ippo 3
Everyone was to like 99% sure that Sendo would win this, but after all we've seen, you can never know in this series.
Yeah but another approach would’ve been better it was the same fight but ippo wasn’t strong enough or didn’t’ cross the line takamira tall about I just find this a little repetitive
I think the approach was good to highlight Sendo's growth and what would've been possible for Ippo if he went into the Gonzales match with a different mindset, it's even kinda poetic. Also since Ippo and Sendo share such a special bond, there couldn't be any better inspiration.
For the inspiration I agree with you but in that case the amount of damage taken is a bit over the board cause he was dominated from the beginning plus the broken hand and gonzalez was afraid at that broken Hand I would’ve prefer if the hand was not broken and the outcome would be the same but at least it was exciting
Well yeah, requires a bit suspension of disbelief, but many fights took an extreme turn and sports shounen are essentially built like that. Just look at Ippo vs Woli, he took one hell of a beating snd still managed to come out on top because of experience. There's always at least one element speaking in favor of our protagonist. In the case at hand it was clear that Sendo would have more than just a chance if they fight it out punch for punch, add his tiger nature and hunger for victory and the victory seems reasonable by shounen standards. Sure, it could've been handled better or more convincing, even I noticed two aspects I could nitpick about, but overall I'm satisfied.
