xxxHOLiC Chapter 168 Discussion

Very nice chapter with lots of explanations (those wanting action please be kind and leave this manga), yet inserts another question: are CCS Syaoran and Sakura really dead? Putting in his name that they'll look for him made me think that they would appear as ghosts, but Yuuko said "certain of your memories are the curse constructed by Fei Wong. You believe that they are, but not all of them are true". Could it be that he thinking of his parents as dead could not be real? Maybe they are not with him because he wanted to be alone just like TRC Syaoran.

Truth to be told I also wanna see Sakura and Syaoran as adults... So let the game begin ne? ahahahaha

mmmh... It certainly clears up some things. But there's a possibility of a double time continuum after Syaoran made that wish... but that's self contradictory. Hope it all works out for Watanuki!

yeah.. you kinda do. and there's a lot to catch up on but you can also read it online. it's only in the later chapters that we figure out why this whole watanuki/syaoran thing is going on...

To kineta; Maybe their spirits would be able to meet, or yuko could have some part in the meeting if it were to occur... I mean he can see spirits....



I sort of don't want to see Sakura and Syaoran as adults and like the fact that Clamp chooses to keep the face of syaoran hidden.



I love watanuki alot so its sort of sad to see him; his past self... but I hope that watanuki let's go of wanting to disappear.

Yup you're right, but it's one of the chappies with less action in the last ones recently posted... We got lots of explanations again... Will we get an amazing battle at the end? Will xXxHolic/TRC worlds explode? Oh who knows... just CLAMP knows how will this end... By the way the deadline they annouced is running out!

I can't believe Watanuki's story is finally coming out.  I've been waiting forever for CLAMP to reveal this stuff.

Another really short chapter. :( I really should stop reading this chapter to chapter and just get volumes. So much more enjoyable compared to these infuriating snippits.

Interesting chapter, though I can't enjoy the series as much as I used to anymore, because I don't read TRC. Still, looking forward to the next chapter. ~

                that was quite the chapter. i really liked the how it was explainied why certains things were because they were one.

And all this time we thought that he'd fallen out of the window because Himawari had touched his back...



So Yuuko taking his memories from him was really almost a blessing to him.  I feel so bad for him, and I'm so glad that he has a reason to live.  Hopefully this will help him through the painful recovery of his memories (because I'm sure he will recover them before the series ends).



... that his parents would go to find him?  CCS! Sakura & Syaoran are dead, right?  Then how can they meet him...?  Actually, this makes me really excited! :)  I really really really want to see Sakura and Syaoran as adults XD
