Kaguya as character is horrible but She had so much potential.
Someone here might be right at thinking that Sage of 6th patch could be the bad guy. He used Naruto and Sasuke to get rid of only person able to stop him. He probably got rid of his brother too once he found out the truth.

She had no potential at all. She was mentioned several times and that is all. She wasn't present in the story until we found out about world tree. It was completely unnecessary to bring her into the story. Even if she was given a chance to redeem, she wouldn't get much of a development. Kishi fucked up the second he made Kuro Zetsu Aizenish, and brought out enemy who shouldn't be there in the first place.
