I think Sakura loves Naruto, but in a more friendly way. Naruto made a good move telling her to stop with the lies, even though he was really close to creating his own happiness. That must have hurt.



Why are you so hung up on arguably the WORST character in Naruto.





LETS SEE, WHY IS HINATA BETTER:



She's not a bitch,

She never had a stupid fan girl obsession with Sasuke,

She liked Naruto from the beginning of the series,

Despite only coming out a few times people like her about a million times more than sakura



The facts are that this series has taken a lot of HATE from many people BECAUSE of the characters, the plot is good, however the characters ARE NOT.



It took a long time to really like Naruto, and Sasuke and Sakura are really DETESTABLE characters. Honestly the series would've been better if they had given a bigger role to Hinata.



It's true that Hinata never had a Sasuke obsession. What about Naruto obsession? Does Hinata know Naruto better than Sakura know Sasuke? Comparing obsession. I'm not hung up on the worst character. In fact, I think all of the characters in Naruto are horrible. They're one dimensional, uninteresting, lame and they hardly develop.

I was asking why people like Hinata so much. Hinata is the typical shy girl, her exact personality is seen in so many animes (and better ones...). Wont ever people get bored of it?

Aright, I will be the first to say that I absolutely HATE Sakura. I'm a full supporter of Sakura-bashing and I would very much prefer to see him with Hinata in manga. Still, people who say that her confession was stupid and that she... what was it? "Sunk to the new bottom" or something seriously need to rethink that.

Firstly, wasn't it obvious (considering the last chapter) that she will try to persuade Naruto against going after Sasuke? It was.

Secondly, wasn't it also obvious that she won't succeed unless she thinks of something big enough for Naruto to seriously consider? It was.

Thirdly, think for a while what (in Sakura's mind) would be the best way to make Naruto give up on his promise. That's right - releasing him from it. Unfortunately, Naruto wouldn't simply accept that and moved on - he needed a reason and it had to be very good, considering that he already spent over 3 years on that alone. So, not knowing that he's capable of seeing right through her she comes up with an idea to play with his "crush" on her to get what she wants. I'm willing to bet that she will apologize for what she said in the next chapter. (I still hate her guts - imo she's pathetic)



And wasn't this chapter supposed to be a fight between Kisame and Kirabi? Seriously, making us wait two weeks for THAT?

Naruto isn´t the same dumb guy like before, and Im glad he noticed there was something weird there.

God damn it, does Kishi hate women so much that his main female character is such a failure? x__X I don't know how you feel about it, but confessing to someone in public like that is cute when handled right, but a dishonour to the guy if she's lying.

No one here has mentioned something rather important.  What was up with the whole Danzou telling his anbu to make sure and take his eye if he dies?  And the other guy saying that his body will be taken soon or something along those lines?



Oh, and just on a note... I liked Sakura a great deal since the start of shipuuden, and still somewhat do... but this last chapter has really made me have to second look her character.
