But... why does his zanpakutou(Yachiru) have its own zanpakutou?



Also, I agree that it was predictable that we would have to wait an entire chapter for the reveal. I hoped that maybe the first pages would switch to someone else at least to see a status of their battle.

Man I wasn't expecting the end twist of the chapter when I really should have been. Yachiru being the Zanpaktou for Kenpachi is nuts and I can't wait to see what the explanation is.

I also hate what Kubo is doing with zanpakutou's in this arc -

Ichigo's sword spiritual form turned out to be a young Yhwach. Why? How no one recognised it up to this point? His zanpakutou wasn't really zanpakutou all this time?

Renji also communicated with his sword only to discover in this arc that it wasn't its full name - that feels so cheap.

Ichigo and Renji were the ones who had unique bonds with their zanpakutous which was somewhat changed later on.



One of the most powerful moments, when old-man Zangetsu puts a hand of Ichigo's shoulder and tells him:

"Do you hear his blade mourning?'

"He has never listened to that voice"

When fighting Kenpachi is now being put to bin as well.

My bad, wrong training I guess. But was there a time when Hitsugaya actually said somethiing about mastering a bankai or were you referring only to Kubo's words?

I have a feeling that the twist is that she is the one saying Bankai. Zaraki was her sword all along.
