I'm normally one of Bleach's bigger supporters here, but holy crap the last two chapters have sucked. I'm ok with asspulls to a certain extent, as long as after their explanation they sort of make sense within the context of the story. Stuff like the final getsuga tensho or Yamamoto wasting his power on a clone didn't really bother me that much. But Yhwach's power might be the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Again, I'd be fine with him surviving these attacks if his powers gave a relatively plausible explanation for how he countered it. But the explanation is literally "I knew you were going use this move, so now it doesn't work." Just knowing that an attack is coming and even the mechanics behind as Yhwach's power seems to let him, shouldn't let you instantly counter it with absolutely no explanation after you're already caught up in it.
