almost nothing happened in this chapter and kubo is using the same cliff hanger of renji and rukia showing up two chapters in a row. this chapter was just completely and utterly unnecessary

I still think the quincy's are holding back a heap. I believe we haven't even seen half of how much power they have in there army.

If killing your own comrades didn't prove this I'm not sure what would.

I think we're gonna see some heavy loses to the shinigami very soon.

While I can understand why some people can view this chapter as boring and Jubach's killing of his men being pointless, I think we need to look a bit deeper at what happened.

Bach's entire invasion plan can revolve around Haschwald's mysterious Balancing power. As long as he manipulates the balance to remain on the Sternritter's side, they can stay on top of the invasion. If two of the Sternritter are defeated  by the Captains, but revived through their Vollstandig, then perhaps the balance is upset and Bach had to have them executed to preserve this balance that he needs.

Haschwald's power could be that he can defy reality if the balance is upset and he can manipulate events so that balance would be restored back towards his side, even if he wouldn't be able to do so normally otherwise. (Cutting the otherwise uncuttable Cheng Du.)

All theory of course. But I think there was a reason we were looking at Haschwald's balance scales during the execution.

Those guys were unimportant anyway. Any half decent strong Sternritter will last a bit at least. I'm sure the actual strong ones haven't been revealed yet either.

Surprise surprise, Rukia and Renji turn up in front of the guy who almost killed them. Should be fun, I want to see Renji's new bankai. Or updated, whichever it is.

Blah blah blah, killing off comrades, blah blah blah.

It was obviously to show how badass that white haired guy is.

who cares, he's going to be deafeted one way or another anyway.

Rukia and Renji are going to fight some stupid looking old man... Hope it's not going to take too many chapters, because it doesn't seem too exciting.

Wow, he really did waste pages on a whole bunch of nothing. As soon as I think something is about to happen, nope nothing.

"I broke your barrier!"

"Ha! I made a new one!"

"Hold on, getting a text ... dammit, my dad needs me to take out the trash... BRB"LMFAOO STOP THIS IS KILLING ME

This must be the most disappointing final battle I have ever read in a shonen manga. It looks more like a playground fight between children where at the first sign of bruises they go "You're mean! T_T Now I'm going to call my daddy!" Only this time the father is a bad comic book villain who goes "You have failed me for the last time" and kills off a perfectly good fighter. Did Kubo ever learn anything from the Deicide arc? Oh well, less villains means less shitty characters to care about and less chapters before the end.

Also, didn't Ichigo leave before Renji and Rukia? How did they get there before a guy who has 'really fast' as one of his only powers?

Tipping scales to our favour-->kills off own comrades. Wow, Kubo, just...wow.

His designs are stupid too. A Lucha Libre Quincy makes no sense.

Hope this upcoming battle with Renji and Rukia is good. Especially Rukia, haven't seen her fight in years.
