And I don't remember corectly but Mayuri wasn't responsible for creating Hogyoku and Vizards.

The one thing I dont get is what Mayuri's part in that package is. It may be something important.

I think they have to help fix the balance between SS and the real world because the quincies started to kill off massive amounts of hollows. It happened in the first chapter of the final arc and I think it's that Urahara took actions to prevent the balance to destabilize.

Btw, who was the guy at the end who greeted Kyoraku? He doesn't seem familiar and I didn't know Ichigo's friends knew of Soul Society/the captains/Aizen :|

Back when Aizen was destroying Fake Karakura Town, they were with Don Kanonji.
