I like how Masaki told Ryuken off in such a refined way, she's a very likeable character already.  Looks like Ryuken is going to go help her out as well.



AIZEN, I love you man.  He turns an unexpected event into his favour, shows up in Urahara's coat like a boss and slashes Isshin in the back as soon as he was about to get serious.  So classic!



Looking forward to see how the events unfold from here on out.

In the first panel she's in,  in this weeks chapter, I thought she looked like that one dude who is (supposedly) Ichigo's friend from school or something. (whatever that guy's name is)

Man, Kubo has no ability for character design whatsoever, does he?

So in this timeline... I guess Vasto Lorde haven't been really discovered yet as a species of Menos.



And... Aizen just has to meddle again. I am guessing Engetsu has some sort of firepower... since Isshin mentioned Burn after all.

My prediction



Masaki kills this hollow but is injured. They get together with Isshin. They do it. Ichigo is born. Aizen makes a very interested face. End of flashback.

Yamamoto's zan is the strongest fire type zanpakutou but it's far from being the only one.

Also Isshin's zan seems to be fire based?...he just said "burn"

I never bothered to check it until now but Engetsu is written with 剡月, "en" consists of two parts, "sword" on the right and "fire" on the left side.
