I forgot i read the mangapanda version so i didnt take it serious. lol. Ichigo still looks almost exactly like Kaien Shiba.

I would say it does matter, but Kubo never gave us an effing explanation on how souls age. Kind of important, given the fact that some Shinigami do seem to age during the timeskip, yet sometimes remained the same for decades.
