Ichigo being a Quincy goes all the way back to the very beginning, the very first chapter, guys. He absorbed Rukia's powers, remember? Not entirely unlike how the Vandenreich stole the Captains' Bankai.

And I really don't think Masaki was killed by Grand Fisher. He didn't remember her, he took that memory of her from Ichigo.

Rather than "Oh she suffered level decay" I'm thinking more likely that she was killed by someone very, very high on the food chain if she's stronger than Isshin.

And since she's the main protagonist's mother, may as well go all the way and assume it was whoever is at the top of the food chain (Or at least whoever will end up there as the last boss.)

Possibly that Shinigami who was shadowing Ichigo at the start of this arc.

It kind of makes you wonder, If she's strong enough to help out someone of captain-level how was she killed by such a weak hollow (at least compared to the level of enemies at the present), i'm guessing maybe she was sick or ill at the time of her death.

I'm thinking possibly lucky shot or something.

something that we all knew months ago was revealed and presented as a cliff hanger. I think there's a disconnect between kubo and his audience. I did enjoying seeing the interaction between isshin and ichigo though short lived. Overall pretty decent for a chapter of bleach.

Am I the only one disappointed that we didn't get to hear more from Kenpachi's Zanpakuto? lol

Anyway, an okay chapter. Not a bit surprised by the ending. lol

I still feel like Isshin is Ichigo's father. I think Juha is Masaki father, hence the 'My son' line (grandson).

I actually wasn't expecting that. I always thought his mother would have hollow powers...this makes me wonder how she got killed by that hollow though.
