Bleach Chapter 501 Discussion

That was Rukia and here I was thinking ho was that boy.

And what was Byakuya fear Rukia dying, he is shinigami does he not know that everybody and everything dies at some point and what was that with the bugs is he afraid of them. All I can say is a annoying chapter and a boring fight.

i don't think Byakuya's dead... i remembered when Gin died, a lot was going on, like rangiku crying and all, but this time, it doesn't look like he's dead! he's just injured I guess.



I agree, I'm more curious to see the mystery sword owner... cliffhanger sucks!

Maybe Aizen escaped.

I thought the Farewell/RIP was said by someone at first, but it doesn't look like someone said it. I didn't really take it seriously after-that though, it looked to me like he was just brutally attacked just like iLostReason said. And again Byakuya is one of the most famous characters in Bleach, killing him is like Kubo telling the fans I sacrifice my life for the greater good. I wonder what he's thinking anyway. I still doubt he's dead. Well let's wait and see.

I am loving EVERYTHING about this. The villains, the intensity, the cliffhangers, the BRUTALITY and the unknown.



Bleach is easily the best of the three right now.

Uhh, okay, if you insist. I wouldn't want to comment on that.

Lots of different opinions and views though from everyone.

As for me, I kinda enjoy all the tension from this somewhat 'new' sensation Bleach is giving off.

But then again, seriously, what's with the massacre?

I'm okay with the vice-captains getting killed one after another but lol? Byakuya, of all people? Losing an eye like Kyoraku would suffice.

If Byakuya dies I'm gonna go into rage mode &@#^!@

I don`t believe Kubo has the guts to kill popular characters but if he gets a little brave, I can see Ichigo walking into a SS filled with corpses and the only survivors would be..

- Soifon/Omaeda(failure comedy relief are immortal)

- Possibly a few other Vice-Captains and Seated officers.



The Quincy will definitely retreat once Ichigo gets in on order from the beard.  That`s when the post-war intense interaction will occur.  



Yama-ji`s death causes a huge instability and it`s taking everything Unohana-san, Shunsui and Ukitake have to order a retreat, locate all corpses and prevent the survivors and themselves from breaking down.  Unohana and Isane will also treat as many as they can.  Ichigo will definitely blame himself for it all and we`ll get some remorse from everyone.



Captains remaining:



- Unohana-San, Ukitake and Shuunsui (mentioned already)

- Toshiro (lives for a role of Captain Commander he may need to play in the future, he has the most potential since he`s so young and has the strongest Ice instead of fire.)

- Kenpachi (too awesome and no Bankai)

- Soifon (can`t die with Yoruichi off-scren lol)

- Mayuri (for the sake of the science department)

- Shinji/Rose/Kensei (Vaizards are supposedly stronger than Captains so I see them holding their own.)  



The rest: I picked them solely on how close they are to Ichigo and the relationships they have/had with remaining/dead Cast.



Every other Shinigami who was involved in the war is dead, including all fodder, Yamamoto, Byakuya, Komamura and Kira.



This way Kubo can minimize hate and keep a story/purpose while killing off a "large amount of people", our beloved Byakuya and make Soul Society suffer an utter defeat.  The survivors can also develop nicely.



I don`t think he has the courage to go through with something like this though, let alone kill off more.

Awesome chapter of Bleach it's getting more awesome by the chapter. :)
