Really, really enjoyed this chapter. I wonder if only one Bankai can be absorbed at  time.



I still remember when Wonderweiss stole Yamamoto's bankai. He still beat his ass.

Well, that was boring. We don't get any new information out of it beyond that the Quincy steal Bankai instead of sealing them. This whole arc just feels drawn out and boring.

Agree. Didn't Soi Fon hate her bankai?; why should she use it?



I wonder why they can't steal Ichigo's bankai while they can steal the taichous bankai. Hopefully we don't have to wait an entire year or two for have that answer.



If Quincy that took her Bankai can use it then it might be better for her. With Shikai alone she will be faster and more deadly than slow Bankai Quincy with huge rocket.



Then again Quincy might be able to use Bankai's they stole without any penalty or problems.

where isUryū Ishida? This would be more interesting if its a Quincy vs Quincy fight or if Ryūken Ishida would come fight too haven't seen him for a while. As for plot progression so far, its been boring, and the Captains did not see the stealing Bankai coming so now no one will use their Bankai now. They should not fear, they can still use Kidō, unless something seals/steals that way too.

Still waiting for the bamkai's that we didn't get to watch.

Its a kanji meaning BAN



Actually, the point here is not WHAT this symbol is, but WHY it's there. What's the point of emphasizing this one kanji of "bankai"? I think there's clearly some link being made here by Kubo between how Quincy's steal the bankai and Ichigo's Tensa Zangetsu - maybe Ichigo's bankai is some kind of "original, first bankai" crap and that's why it's immune to this technique (and that's why "ban" kanji is so prominent in his bankai forms).

I hope it's something more and better than that, because such a lazy and uninspired way of explaining it would suck.
