You're not crazy, I remember that too. In fact I thought I had heard that the time skip was the mid-point in the series, just like One Piece had done not that long before him XD

I'm guessing this "last arc" will be...incredibly long XD

How many years exactly is this arc going to be?

An so the final arc begins... With two random weaklings talking a lot of nonsence then getting raped by some hollows on steriod, then badass Ichigo to the rescue.  



Not sure what Kubo was thinking, if it's the last arc he should begin to tie some loose ends instead of creating new ones.

Kubo going for the 4 chapter end.



Chapter 1. Quincy luring tons of hollows, Soul Society gets nervous.

Chapter 2. Quincy commence attacking Soul Reapers.

Chapter 3. Ichigo kills all the bad guys.

Chapter 4. Ichigo walks off into the sunset leaving every question that was asked unanswered.



Still can't be as worthless as the last arc, how sad.

Last arc, twenty volumes to go, let’s do it.

I have to say, except the Substitute Shinigami arc, it was an enjoyable (very long) read so far.

The guy on the cover reminds me the villain Shan Yu from Disney’s Mulan.
