Ichigo made the Menos Grande withdraw, nice.

Well the Menos was dealt with, but smt will happen to Rukia soon ...

Glad that Menos was defeated defeated, but just retreated. Kind of like Grand Fisher, to come up again later when are heroes are more suited. The fight here was mostly lame, but I do like how they built up the resolution earlier by first showing how Ichigo's spirit energy flowing out affected Chad & Orihime. While I was more sour on the fight though, I did like Ishida's resolution here, him helping Ichigo made sense with the explanation given about their powers in the earlier chapter, and it meshed well with his internal monologue at the same, makes sense that he was shifting the blame to the Soul Reapers when he was the one feeling guilty. Him saving Ichigo and his monologue did a good deal to make him more likable after this stupid contest.

This is how the friendship between Shinigami and Quincy began. at the end of the chapter did not really understand, was it a fly spy?

                        Oh.. a chapter full of Ishida's thoughts... Pretty much his honest opinion... I like it... This will define the future between Ichigo and Uryuu... This seals them as companions at least... So after the big mess of the Menos Grande, he runs away... after all Ichi's power scared it back to it's world :P But Ichi lost control of both his spirit and the Zanpakutou and now he's in danger of disappearing... Oh noes... I hope Uryuu saves Ichi!!!

I like how we learned more about how spiritual energy works in this arc, and also Ishida's development concluding with him deciding to save Ichigo

Pretty funny that back then a menos was a big deal xd
