Ishida is dumber then I thought.. he fights to prove a point his master never made. In fact he tried to teach him the exact opposite..

After hearing this story, I'm totally against Quincys killing Hollows. If they kill Hollows they destroy souls, which is much worse than destroying lives, since the former is an irreversible action. Through death a soul moves to another world and maybe returns in a new life on Earth. But a destroyed soul is lost forever! I suppose Quincy could fight Hollows without killing them. The last part should be left to the Soul Reapers.



Now I come to realize with shock and horror that Ishida challenged a whole bunch of Hollows and destroyed a lot of souls 😨!!! The price of recklessness! I can't imagine that Ishida would be so inconsiderate toward other souls, so I like to believe that he didn't think things through (not that this would change the outraging outcome in any way).

Ishida's master died because the Shinigami didn't arrive on time.

I'm really glad that Ishida wasn't motivated by the ancient genocide of his people, and even thought the Soul Reapers were in the right there. There's enough shonen leads with that kind of backstory and motivation (Kurapika, Sasuke, & Vegeta come to mind). I don't think his actual motivation was much stronger though, but at least Ichigo seems to have got through to him.

Finally, Ichigo gave a couple of cuffs to Ishida, it took quite a long time for this to happen.

Well, a unexpected and more believable reason for Ishida's grudge against the shinigamis. His master seemed like a good and wise guy too, pity.

                        Ahhhh so then that's why the World was going to be destroyed by the Quincies... So then there's a balance between the SS and th "real" world, and the Quincies were breaking it by killing too many Hollows in a short while and unbalancing the World's lif forces........ and so as Ichi' thought to himself, this definitely what we call the Shinigami's Arrogance... Not that they're the best but I guess they were right when they called for the Unbalance of the worlds.... And we know a lil' bit more of Ishida's past... SO he had a sensei who was the last Quincy alive... And he was killed by 5 Hollows that destroyed the whole body of the old man... All because th Shinigami's were lazy and arrived an hoyr later... Poof no wonder he wants to show his strenght to Ichi and co.
