Bleach Chapter -98 Discussion

What a disappointment... I thougt that we will see Urahara's bankai... Well, it looks like Kubo is keeping the best part to proper time. I'm counting on him, that he'll come up with a good explanations to all this mess - but not in Naruto-style(for ex. Aizen is Ichigo's brother and he did those experiments, for all Shinigamis sake ;]).

Aizen sure is overpowered.

Far too overpowered. Wonder if his origins will ever be explained.

I want to see that too, where did he get all that power. I also wonder of Urahara's true power...

Yeah, Wasabi's prediction is getting more sense.

I kinda hate it that they didn't explain and tell us who's the one that's slashing them and making them hollowified?

There's someone using a sword that slashes them and then a mask grew right? Who's that?!

I think it's GIN ZANPAKTOU?! Wahahaha! LOL!

Definitely, would want to know about Aizen's bkgrd!

I think Aizen's power is not centered on his zanpakto (while it is an extremel useful tool  in his case) or his fighting skills but rather on his intelligence and a thirst for knowledge. Urahara, I believe is very similar to Aizen, in terms of intelligence and knowledge that they possess, very much like mirror images. In a that very context, Urahara might be Aizen's 'true' adversary in the end... Just a hunch, but til now, we all have had only a few tasters of both Urahara's and Aizen's physical powers.... think Kubo sensei might be saving something for the big battle at the end...

Hmm what really gets me is how does the slashing actually trigger off the hollowfication..... I wonder if Gin's zanpakto has anything to do with it...

It looks like Urahara is going to get set up good. The blame will probably fall on him somehow .. and I agree, Aizen = rigged =/

Why is everyone talking about Aize, tessai etc.

Isn't this conclusion for Ichigo vs Renji, tf?!?

Are they discussing the anime?

I definitely agree with you on the Tousen and Gin bit. I think they somehow will have bigger part to play later in the main arc rather just being Aizen's underlings, esp. Gin. I get a feeling that he somehow has a hidden agenda, while Aizen seems to be the leader of the infamous trio, Gin is no idiot either. I don't think his loyalty is with Aizen just because he's a fervent believer in Aizen's ideologies, unlike Tousen who seems to be following Aizen out of blind (no pun intended) subjugation.

Right now, it would seem that Urahara and Aizen are more of instigators rather than active players on the front lines, very much like 2 very intelligent chess players strategically making their moves for the final battle. Though I definitely would like to see U vs A in a fight! I think we have seen one too many previews of their unrevealed strengths to just let it slide!

Tousen only joined Aizen because he thinks that is justice. It's his own perception since he saw much injustice in the Soul Society.

And yes, I agree to the part about Gin as well. He definitely represents a sly fox waiting to take things into his own hands.

One thing that puzzled me is that Aizen left and decided not to confront them. after all, more guinea pigs, more possible results. He's formidable enough to take on the two of them.

If he'd confront them that would do enough to end his plans completely.

And finally, Ichigo VS Aizen would be the final battle for the series, I would predict. That's how the arcs really end.

I agree with you. if in future chapters it comes down to urahara vs aizen then we'll get to see their true strength. it seems though that aizen might be more intimidated by Tousen, Gin, and Orihime. if you go by the saying, "keep your friends close and your enemies closer" then this applies to aizen and those 3.

tousen has a HUGE advantage against aizen's powerful zanpakutou since he can never see it, Gin was powerful and at early age and it impressed aizen, and orihime has that weird cancellation power that aizen is intriged by. but i dont see how ichigo fits in, unless we havent seen his true power yet....

i agree he keeps his enemies close and Ichigo fits in cause he is able to control his hollow transfromation and it makes him really strong he is one of the strong people in this show and he allso might have hidin power like you said
