18 pages of such fast passed action that it ended in the blink of an eye XD
In few words, Fate got OWNED by the ambush strategy, although it did not end without a few casualties. Particulary interesting how Fate focused on taking down Nodoka, very smart move since the girl is the one who can figure out how the key works, or is probably just payback for revealing to the world his hated true name: Tertium.
"Mr. Tertium, now that I'm holding the Grand Master Key in my hands, please don't think in a way I could I use it to ruin all your plans"
"... ... SH*T!!"

is pretty easy: the number of artifacts are not infinite.
We knew that already thanks to Yue's artifact, but that still doesn't explain how the villains know every single damned artifact. Why the hell did Takane know and not Negi perchance about Yuna's weapon? It's like Negi, who studied like crazy since 6 years old, knows shit about magic and weapons lore.
This can be answered quite easely tough.
Negi had a good life in the human world, he studied to become a respectable mage who can be of use to people, he did not studied the strongest spell or artefact, I dare to say he did not studied anything linked to pactio at all.
While in the magical world, there was a big war not too long ago, magical fighting is like a sport and fighter takes prides in fighting and being the strongest.
Obviously about any decizen of the magical world probably knows more artefact than Negi since fighting is an everyday things here.
This is a good explanation, but I remember Negi being an antique items collector in the first chapters. I wonder if he could really not know of the rarest, most ancient artifacts there are.
Well these are different in my opinion.
No need to say that Negi's knowledge of the magical world was almost zero before actually going there and in the real world it is pretty much impossible to get good information about it let alone an encyclopedia about every artefact existing there lol.
