:D and totally out of left field... And it only took what, the entire series for her to get any relevant page-time?



Well, whoever she's with, I am most excited.

Guess it's about time we get something on Zazie, I've been interested in her since that small little interaction she had with Sayo before all this really started. Definitely wasn't expecting her to appear here.

Fuck, this mean that this arc is the last since Akamatsu said that Zazie would get major development in the last arc =/.



Other than that this was one hell of an epic chapter. I was surprised that Zazie is with Fate but thinking about it it doesn't seem too weird anymore.

Fate's plan, well at least Fate's master's plan, needed the power of the lifemaker which is in Asuna's hand. I don't think that it is weird that they sent a spy to keep sigh of Asuna in the real world so that they could take her whenever they were ready. Basically Asuna comming in the magical world was only an opportunity, not a necessity, they could have took her whenever they wanted.



Negi think that comming to the magical world was a mistake but soon he will realise that he had luck on his side because if Fate had captured Asuna after he had destroyed the gateport it would have been game over for the magical world.



Negi looked cool this chapter when he came over with Setsuna. I guess Tsukuyomi fleed back to the castle as I was expecting it since all the major battle are bound to be fought on these ground.



Anyway I agree, last panel was the best lolwut face Negi ever made in the manga.

Even if it is the last arc, it is bound to be a long long one. Ken has already made some long arcs which have mini arcs in them (e.g. the School Festival arc was around 80 chapters long)

I guess I'm lucky to be watching Negima?! now

I just saw that Zazi could see and speak with Sayo (ghost girl) normaly before Negi did his magic

and why is everyone is talking about ending this series ? it's still WAY too far to that

Seriously if she's with Fate there will be a clash of ideals and Zazie will probably end up either helping Negi or going against him. Any other way she will have to develop why she came here and we will probably heard of her backstory.



Since Zazie is somehow linked with demons, she always had those strange "pets" around her, my bet is that she is a high ranking demon herself. And it wouldn't be strange for her to work as a mercenary just like mana.



If I am correct then she probably won't get those major developments now, but we wil get to know her better in the next (final) arc.



On another note Akamatsu still has to show us 2 thing before ninishing the story:

-Negi need to meet Nagi

-Negi should find a way to "save" mundus magicus



As for where Nagi is, Fate is the one who can provide this information. Meaning Negi need to defeat him first.



Saving mundus magicus is one hell of a thing to do, it wouldn't be strange that a whole arc is focused on that.



The two above *could* be achieved in a single arc, but as you said yourself Dandere to rush things is the difference between a bad and a good manga and MSN is clearly the latter.



I don't think Nagi is related to this at all.



Yes the manga started with Negi wanting to find his dad but now I got a feeling that he won't find him. At first Negi was driven by revenge because of what happened to his village and absolutely wanted to find his father.

He want to see him for sure but I think that Negi passed over that, he need to live his life and not be bound by the past anymore.



In fact I would love to see the manga end with Negi not finding his dad but returning to his hometown and with all that he have overcome research a way to break the curse on his village.



He found a lot about his dad past, this trip wasn't in vain and that will probably be enough for Negi. He does not need to knows the true but to be happy with the one he love

They'd better have a good explanation for it considering the gates to both worlds are meant to be severed



you do realize that there is still one gateport that works right? And because of that gateport I'm thinking that Zazie might truly be evil. That gateport should have been under Fates control.

That was shock. I knew it that Zazie is strange and I suspected she has some hidden powers (look on her hands in chapter 1 page 8-9), but I would never guess, that she was one of them.

Holy crap, these chapters are so dense and detailed. This is the only manga in which i am actually drawn into the drawings (pun?). So many characters so i don't remember who she is but i still got the same effect from her appearance.

Goddamn i love page 8. That's freaking cool.

Like I said months ago, the only next possible arc I can conceive is time travelling to search Nagi which is probably not in this era anymore. If someone stronger than the mage of beginning / fate teams at this age and time show up then I'll be disapoint
